Print Access Tips

Printable books from Visually Speaking are made to be put together using a personal printer or professional copier. Each page is printed on a full sheet and folded in half. The folded edge becomes the page edge, which makes the book feel smooth when turning pages.

Standard paper works well. Brochure paper or cardstock can make the book feel stronger and more durable.

After folding, place the pages in order. Line up all the folded edges on one side. The open edges form the spine of the book.

To finish, use staples or binder clips along the spine. Staples hold the book together more permanently. Binder clips can be removed if needed. You can also add tape to cover the staples and give the book a more finished look.
